Game developer aNCHOR has announced the premiere window for Muv-Luv Alternative The Animation.
The anime, based on their popular Muv-Luv sci-fi and mecha franchise, is premiering sometime next year. The developer shared a new teaser trailer to show off the various mecha from the series battling against the BETA alien invaders.
Furthermore, anCHOR confirmed during their Muv-Luv October 24th Web Event broadcast that the new animation is not an OVA (original video animation), instead it’s a full-length anime TV series.
The original Muv-Luv was released back in 2003 for Windows PC, followed by Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The franchise has been expanded to naturally include model kits, figurines, and other merchandise, selling millions of units across the board.
