MultiVersus is getting a playtest

Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games announced MultiVersus is getting a playtest in February 2022.

While MultiVersus is getting a playtest from February 25th through March 7th, sign-ups are now available over on the game’s official website. Warner Bros. noted that signing up doesn’t guarantee a chance to play the game, as these tests usually are limited to a select number.

For those that missed the game’s official reveal, it was leaked several times only to be hurriedly confirmed as real – a Super Smash Bros. style party fighting game with Warner Bros. owned intellectual properties. The game will sport full crossplay across its supported platforms.

The initial roster thus far has quite a lot of variety from Superman to Arya Stark (Game of Thrones) and even Ultra Instinct Shaggy (Scooby-Doo), they still haven’t confirmed the previously leaked and potentially best character – Gandalf the Grey, or perhaps as he is later known as Gandalf the White.

Here’s a rundown on the November 2021-announced game:

In MultiVersus, the Multiverse is at your fingertips as you battle it out in intense 2v2 matches. Up against Batman & Shaggy? Try using Bugs Bunny & Arya Stark! This platform fighter lets you play out your fantasy matchups in a fun co-op or head-to-head fight for supremacy.
