Multiple Assassin’s Creed remakes planned, says Ubisoft CEO

Assassin's Creed remakes

I hope you’re ready for a lot more Assassin’s Creed because Ubisoft confirmed there’s not just one but multiple Assassin’s Creed remakes planned at the company.

The news comes from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot in a new interview posted on the Ubisoft Blog today, confirming multiple Assassin’s Creed remakes are coming.

“Players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we’ve created in the past and modernize them; there are worlds in some of our older Assassin’s Creed games that are still extremely rich,” Guillemot said.

The CEO also teased that fans can expect a variety of Assassin’s Creed games moving forward like their recent titles Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

“There will be plenty of experience variety,” he said. “The goal is to have Assassin’s Creed games come out more regularly, but not for it to be the same experience every year. There are a lot of good things to come, including Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which we’ve announced, which is going to be a very different game from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. We’re going to surprise people, I think.”

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to launch on November 15th across Windows PC (via the Ubisoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Amazon Luna.
