Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition

PlayStack have announced Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition; coming as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the original game.

As previously reportedMortal Shell is a third-person action-RPG set in a grim fantasy world. The game focuses on skill-driven tactical combat, and players can possess the remains of fallen heroes to gain access to new fighting styles and techniques.


The Enhanced Edition will add 60fps (30fps on Xbox Series S), 4K resolution, improved textures, DualSense feature support on PlayStation 5, and free upgrades for those on current generation consoles.

Your path is guarded by desperate adversaries, devoted to inscrutable gods. Behold creatures both pitiable and grotesque, but do not let fear halt your journey. Muster your courage and face them down.

Iron Sharpens Iron
Combat is strategic and deliberate. You must commit your sword only when an opportunity opens. Calculate your parries to unleash devastating counterblows. Temporarily entomb your Mortal Shell in stone to block attacks, or play aggressive and use your stone-form to add brutal weight to your own sword swings.

Mortal Shell is available now on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, 2021 on Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and March 4th on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
