• J.K. Simmons reprises role as Omni-Man in Mortal Kombat 1

    Hot on the heels of Mortal Kombat 1 confirming its Kombat Pack roster, we’ve learned an iconic actor is returning to voice guest fighter Omni-Man.

    IP owner Skybound Entertainment hosted an interview with Omni-Man creator Robert Kirkman and Mortal Kombat 1 lead Ed Boon, where the duo confirmed J.K. Simmons will reprise his superhero role.

    When asked how Simmons’ returning to Omni-Man in the new fighting game feels, Boon added “it’s as authentic as it can be.” Boon also added that Simmons brings his signature energy to voicing the lines in the game.

    Mortal Kombat 1 is set to launch on September 19th across PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PlayStation 5.
