Capcom have released the Witcher 3 crossover event for Monster Hunter: World.
The new event opens a special new quest line for those of Hunter Rank 16 or higher starting with “Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest” will become available. In it, Geralt of Riviera (voiced by Doug Cockle) tracks down a Leshen.
“Defeating this mysterious creature will require the skills befitting a seasoned professional, and gamers will have at their disposal the White Wolf’s arsenal and abilities, including his silver sword and combat magic. Players will also engage in dialogues with other characters, influencing how the story unfolds through choices they make — a hallmark of The Witcher series.”
Those who complete the mission can earn “unique, Witcher-themed special items, resources for crafting Geralt’s armor and weapon set, a unique skin and weapon for the player’s Palico companion, as well as new gestures, titles, pose, and guild card background.”
For those of Hunter Rank 50 or higher, will have access to the multiplayer event “Contract: Woodland Spirit” from February 15th to March 1st, featuring a much stronger Leshen. Completing this mission can net players the “resources they’ll need to craft the armor and weapon set of Ciri — another iconic character from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”
The update for this event is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will become available later on Windows PC.
