Capcom has confirmed that the Monster Hunter Rise PC port includes all post-launch content, confirming both versions of the game will be synced in terms of content.
The news that the Monster Hunter Rise PC port includes all post-launch content comes via a new Steam blog update, where Capcom noted the PC / Steam version will include all of the post-launch content leading up to the 3.6.1 release on Switch.
Furthermore, Capcom noted they plan to have both versions of the games updated to be fully synchronized with content by the end of February 2022. Alongside that is the reiteration that cross-play is not supported between the PC and Switch versions, unfortunately.
Capcom also detailed the numerous post-launch content updates for the game that are coming with its PC release, including the various collabs like Mega Man 11, Okami, Street Fighter – and new monsters to fight like Teostra, Chameleos, and more.
It’s worth mentioning again that a playable demo for Monster Hunter Rise is now available, over on its Steam page.
The PC port of Monster Hunter Rise is coming ahead of the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion, which is set for a release sometime in summer 2022 and will add a large amount of new content, including new story bits.
Monster Hunter Rise has been available on Nintendo Switch since March 2021 and is launching for PC on January 12th, 2022. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we highly recommend it!)
