monster hunter 4 ultimate 04-14-15-1

Capcom has announced that shipments for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in the west have reached one million units.

This new milestone is for both North America and Europe, and Capcom was also keen to point out that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the quickest selling and highest rated out of any of the Monster Hunter games in the west.

To celebrate, Capcom is going to launch a new 3DS theme some time in May, entirely for free.

    Shipped does not mean sold.

Remember when DmC shipped 1.2 million units. When that’s the data they give they know they’re boned.

The difference being DmC deserved to fail.

Anecdotal, but everyone I talked to had to run around store to store to snap up the last remaining copies. At least those who didn’t get their preorder copy safe and sound.

No one’s denying that, just that they cut projections from around 4 million sales to 2 million sales and ended up giving a 1.2 million copies shipped. Fucking hilarious.
