Modders Add Waluigi to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Now that Wii U emulation has made pretty noticeable progress, running big games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has gotten more feasible.

Coming from this, enterprising fans have naturally started trying to mod the ever-loving Jesus out of the game with content ranging from Grand Theft Auto, Mario, co-op mode, and even Minecraft elements.

Now, the modders have possibly gone too far. We’ve learned that modders have added a Waluigi skin to the game, and thus the silliness ensues:

The Waluigi skin was made by modders Hefty and DonkXProXAli. While this is being shown primarily for modding on the PC emulated version – you can get it to work on the Wii U version with some SD card trickery.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough video and written review for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild here.
