Minato Aqua from hololive gen 2 has announced her sudden graduation from hololive on August 28.
Aqua has been a part of the company for 6 years, debuting on August 8, 2024. She debuted alongside Murasaki Shion, Yuzuki Choco, Nakiri Ayame, and Oozora Subaru.
Despite her archetype as a timid maid, Aqua has become a staple of the company and was even featured in her own visual novel. Aqua was also a founding member of the in-house group UMISEA which featured multi-generational talents who have nautical themes.
Hololive confirmed Aqua’s departure in a public statement.

Aqua’s graduation appears to be mutual, with hololive allowing her to stream until she graduates along with hosting a farewell concert on August 28.
