Microsoft Offers Xbox All Access Upgrade Program for Project Scarlett

Microsoft have announced their Xbox All Access program will allow users to upgrade their Xbox One to their upcoming console, dubbed Project Scarlett.

For those unfamiliar, the Xbox All Access program allows for monthly payments in exchange for an Xbox console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Online Multiplayer, and the option to upgrade to a more powerful console- depending on the number of monthly payments.

Microsoft have now stated that with 24 monthly payments, users can obtain an Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or Xbox One S All-Digital, and upgrade to Project Scarlett when it releases.

“For a limited time, anyone purchasing an Xbox One X console in this way before December 31, 2019, will have the option to upgrade to Project Scarlett when it officially launches in Holiday 2020.

Gamers choosing to purchase an Xbox One S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition bundle can upgrade to Project Scarlett in 18 months, although a £15 upgrade fee applies to anyone with an All-Digital Edition.

An Xbox One X costs £24.99 a month, an Xbox One S costs £19.99 a month and an Xbox One S All-Digital Edition costs £17.999 a month.”

The offer can be purchased at GAME, or via Smyths Toys from November 5th in the UK. Though Microsoft does state “Anyone wanting to join the programme in the UK should visit a participating retailer, select the console they would like to purchase with no upfront cost, qualify with Microsoft’s financing partner Klarna and complete the purchase with the retailer.”

Project Scarlett will release Holiday 2020.
