Piranha Games have announced the release date of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries – Call to Arms, the latest DLC pack for their mech combat game.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries – Call to Arms releases June 8th for all platforms. The base game has been available for Windows PC (via the Epic Games StoreGOG, and Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass. The new DLC pack focuses a lot on melee combat. This includes 9 new melee weapons, 23 new melee-focused ‘Mech variants (including 5 Hero ‘Mechs), and a 5-mission quest chain than involves capturing the Lyran Commonwealth’s latest ‘Mech chassis, the Hatchman. Call to Arms also includes a new animated skin for all ‘Mechs and 3 new biomes.

The DLC will be accompanied by a free update to the base game. This adds flexible tonnage limits on missions, an upgraded Starmap, enhanced contract screens, and the ability to swap to a Lancemate’s ‘Mech upon death.
