Publisher CI Games and developer HEXWORKS have released a new 2.5 update for their Lords of the Fallen reboot bringing with it

The big new 2.5 update for the game brings with it deadlier bosses and enemies, a new “Veteran” difficulty mode, and more.

Following over 70 post-launch updates shaped by millions of players, Lords of the Fallen Version 2.5 delivers the FINAL major update for the dark fantasy action-RPG. Available now and free for all owners, V2.5 adds significantly deadlier boss battles and enemies, an all-new Veteran difficulty mode, new boss weapon animations, a new armour set and more!

Key features include:

• Deadlier Bosses and Enemies – Across both Legacy and Veteran modes, bosses, mini-bosses, and regular foes have been reworked with refined combos, improved AI, faster recovery, and increased aggression for a more challenging soulslike experience.
• Veteran Mode: The Ultimate Challenge – Face a far deadlier trial designed for players who have mastered Mournstead with the new Veteran Mode difficulty setting. Faster transitions, new attack patterns, and heightened aggression transform familiar encounters into unpredictable battles.
• Boss Weapons Reforged – Several iconic boss weapons now feature brand-new signature attack animations, adding fresh depth, impact, and identity to these coveted tools of war.
