Publisher and developer Dragami Games have announced the Lollipop Chainsaw remake is delayed to next year, news confirmed alongside the game’s official title.
The previously announced remake is delayed to summer 2024 but now has an official title: Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. Release platforms are still unconfirmed.
“Development was progressing toward the release in 2023, but it was decided that it was necessary to extend the development period in order to further improve quality,” Dragami Games said in a press release.
They added, “We will do our best to make high quality games, so please continue to support us!”
The original Lollipop Chainsaw was originally developed by Grasshopper Manufacture with Goichi Suda as director, with Kadokawa as the original publisher and IP holder. It was originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
