Developer SUNNY SIDE UP announced Little Witch in the Woods is leaving early access this fall.
The cute and cozy witch life simulator game is leaving early access on September 4th, for PC (via Steam). The game launched in early access back in 2022 for PC and Xbox Game Preview, though the full release is only for PC.
The big 1.0 release for the game will bring a new theme, unrepaired areas of the village, new villagers, various new stories, new features, quality-of-life improvements, optimizations, and bug fixes.
“Thanks to all the interest, support, and feedback you’ve given us, we’ve made it to the full release,” the developer said in a statement. “We’ve worked hard to bring fun and joy to players. We hope you’ll enjoy the daily life of a witch in the world of 『Little Witch in the Woods』.

A little witch’s daily life as apprentice
In the ‘LUCEREIN ORTU’, witches live together. They built ‘Witch House’ in various areas and have been sending their apprentice witches there. The apprentice witches must go to the one of the ‘Witch’s Houses’ and help the nearby village and villagers. If you complete your apprenticeship successfully, you can become a formal witch. Become Ellie the Apprentice Witch and experience her daily life!
