Monolith Soft and Nintendo have updated the official website for Xenoblade Chronicles X with something quite badass.
While this isn’t new gameplay, a release date, or anything “substantial” for some fans, the update added a brand new track (click to listen, or right click to save it) from the game’s official soundtrack.
The song and entire soundtrack are composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. This sounds like something out of a pretty wicked mecha anime/movie (which makes sense, considering the game has giant mecha in it), although I can’t quite place the familiarity in it.
You can also find the original background song that has now been taken off the home page, here.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is set for a release in the spring of next year for Japan, with a launch in the west sometime later in 2015.
