Square Enix has revealed a new developer diary for their action RPG, Drakengard 3. The new video features creative director Taro Yoko going over the origins of the Drakengard series, its themes, and even what inspired its spinoff Nier.
Featured above, you can watch the entire interview/developer diary – and before you ask why Yoko-san is talking through a sock puppet, it’s because he doesn’t like to show his face publicly. When he talked at GDC 2014, he wore a mask to cover his face, so that he could discourage people from taking pictures of himself.

So what do you guys think about the themes and concepts within the Drakengard world? Are they too crazy? Are they inspiring?
