Johnny Hardwick who voiced Dale Gribble from King of the Hill has passed away at the age of 64.

Hardwick is known for his role on King of the Hill as Hank’s paranoid friend and neighbor Dale Gribble. He continued to perform the role as recently as 2022 in the game Warped Kart Racers.

In the years since King of the Hill ended, Hardwick continued to perform and speak to his audience on YouTube using Gribble’s fake name Rusty Shackleford almost like a stage name.

Hardwick was allegedly found in his Texas home after police arrived to perform a welfare check.
