Koch Media and SNK announced the King of Fighters XV open beta test begins today, exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The King of Fighters XV open beta will feature cross-gen between both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and combatants will be able to do battle offline in tutorial, training, or local versus modes. Online play (via Casual or Room match)will be available as well to test out Netcode, and you won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to play.
The following returning characters will be playable:
- Shun’ei
- Kyo Kusanagi
- Iori Yagami
- Chizuru Kagura
- Yashiro Nanakase
- Shermie
- Chris
- Dolores
Out of the above, Dolores is a newcomer to the King of Fighters series.
The King of Fighters XV beta will be available starting tonight, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. PST; through November 22nd at 7:00 a.m. PST. You can queue up the PlayStation 4 version from here, or the PlayStation 5 version from here.
