Publisher Acclaim and co-developers Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon announced a release window for Kidbash: Super Legend, their new roguelike action platformer.
Kidbash: Super Legend is set to launch sometime early next year for Windows PC (via Steam) and consoles. Specific consoles weren’t mentioned, though wishlisting is available on the Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store.
“Kidbash grabbed all of our attention, instantly,” said Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Director of Publishing & Strategic Partnerships at Acclaim in a press release. “It feels like somebody uncovered a lost action classic from the PS3/Dreamcast era and gave it a modern 2020’s soul. Authentic Remixes & Fat Raccoon built something with real style, real gameplay, and a ton of personality.”
Rodriguez added, “The second we saw the claymation-real “Laika-esque” vibe of the game world, the mash-up weapon combat, and the sheer energy of it all moving together, we knew this game had something special. This is exactly the kind of bold, memorable indie game Acclaim was brought back to champion!”
