Two Xbone delays in one day and one announced as having a PC release.

I doubt the delays are related, but it’s still kinda shit news for the Xbone.

Has there even been any gameplay shown regarding this game? If not, then not really sure why anyone would care. It’s not like we know what we’re missing.

Also, a Keiji Inafune game being delayed? Color me shocked.

Seems like it’s exclusive for Windows 10. At least looking at the list published on the Xbox site it says Windows 10 specifically, all of them actually, except Cobalt, which says “Steam”. So my guess is they’re trying to lock them into their own store thing, didn’t they have one of those now?

to be fair, PS4 has a better track record of exclusives. You will never see Bloodborne or Uncharted 4 on PC. or Infamous Second Son, Last of us, Horizon Zero Dawn looks great. Until Dawn was kooky fun, and there’s Gravity Rush 2.

Aw yiss, looks like the PC leak this game had was legit as well.

MS definitely needs to stop announcing games so early, though; they’re almost as bad as Nintendo and Sony in this regard now.

Ah, the First financial Quarter 2016 ended at 31.12. and the Sales are so miserable, that they have to calm down the Auctioneers. The same procedure as every Year.

With this annoucement and the fact Killer Instintic Season 4 is also coming to Windows 10, I wonder if Microsoft is tired of pushing the Xbox brand and is getting ready to jump ship should the Xbox One fail to do what the PS3 did and turn the tables.

Well, if this is one of the games that’s meant to sell people on Windows 10…

They can keep Windows 10 to themselves, thank you very much.

Most first party developed Sony titles simply aren’t interesting to people that aren’t invested in them already, though, and I’d say Bloodborne of all games is a good candidate for future porting if Helldivers, Rapture and possibly Journey are any indication.

I’m okay with the Scalebound delay, considering the poor performance we saw, and Recore’s delay was to be expected, but a PC release? You’re giving consolecucks more reasons to avoid Xbone.

I don’t know how I feel about this game, after the fiasco that was Mighty No 9, I have no faith in Inafune. How like after the last few Double Fine games, I have no faith in Schafer to do Psychonauts 2 justice.

no they’re just refocusing what the Xbox is by making it an extension of Windows. In the end they know all console brands will become the same thing: a service, not a device

Still waiting to see a gameplay session of this. And I’m similarly worried about Mighty No 9 being somewhat lackluster. A bit of a wait can’t hurt.

  35. British_Otaku
    January 4, 2016 at 7:12 pm

More or less. I don’t expect Inafune’s productions to deliver on time and unlike MN9, we didn’t fund this to the moon with a planned release date and a ton of drama leading up to the current year.

I’ll only be annoyed if it fails to reach even my low expectations whenever it comes out.

There is no chance Bloodborne will ever come out for PC for the same reason Demon’s Soul hasn’t and will never. SCE payed FROM to make it, SCE helped FROM develop it, and SCE published the game.

    SCE = Sony Computer Entertainment

You will need to rev up that ps4 emulator when it gets half working some time in 2035

No but I’m pretty sure PlayStation owns that Ip though or something like that. It’s the reason why Sunset Overdrive came out on Xbox One instead of PS4.

Don’t think this will be seeing linux. Originally it was announced as an Xbox One exclusive and now it’s on windows, pretty sure microsoft was the one fronting the funding for this or has agreements to lock it to their platforms. That or Inafune is done trying to make multiple platforms work and is only doing windows because of how similar it is to develop for Windows and Xbox One or the like.
