The upcoming 8th episode of KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World will be delayed until May 31 due to “circumstances“.

The series follows a young man named Yukito who’s sacrificed to a cult and gets reincarnated in another world. This new world is an atheistic dystopia where society callously disposes of whomever they choose… and then he nearly dies protecting a friend.

The series has been lampooned in recent weeks due to its heavy use of 3D CG and even some awkward attempt at using live action with a filter over it. Some fans of the series have argued that it’s meant to be bad on purpose as a stylistic choice.

The series is the latest from Studio Palette, a newer studio who are known for working on The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat.
