Leading up to their season 6 update set for next week, Blizzard have been releasing videos to build up the hype for Overwatch 2’s Invasion storyline. Their most recent post reveals a slight surprise that have caught many off-guard.

Via their Twitter/X, their shared a video with a mysterious character known as Enigma. By the end of the video, it’s revealed this hacker character is played by none other than John Cena.

In a sense, this isn’t that big of a surprise given recent news that had some speculating that the pro-wrestler would make an appearance in the game. Though most were assuming he might be a part of a new collaboration event similar to that of the One Punch Man one earlier this year.

While there hasn’t been an official list of changes coming for season 6, what has been shared so far shows that the new season for the game will be its biggest one yet, with additions such as story missions and a new support hero.

Overwatch 2 has been available since October 2022 for Windows PC (via Battle.net), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
