Blizzard have revealed all the official details for the upcoming season 3 of Overwatch 2, which begins on February 7th.

There’s standard things such as balance changes and tweaks to their matchmaking service. However, they also share upcoming events such as one for Valentine’s and a collaboration with One Punch Man.

You heard that right, Overwatch 2 is jumping on the collaboration train with their first one and it’s a skin for the character Doomfist where he adorns Saitama’s famous yellow and red suit.

The collaboration also include other items related to the anime, but will be revealed later. This will run from March 7th through April 6th.

Other additions to the game which will be released during the next couple months is a Valentine’s day event, which is a browser dating sim where players can romance either Mercy or Genji. This will launch here on February 13th through February 28th.

As for the game itself, there’ll be a limited time event to celebrate Valentine’s and season 3 also brings along a new map set in Antarctica. It’s a snow-themed control map where players fight to control one point on the map.

There are a ton of changes and additions coming to the game such as an Asian themed mythology battle pass, accessibility improvements, and the return of workshop to allow players to create custom games with various settings.

Overwatch 2 has been available since October 2022 for Windows PC (via Battle.net), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
