    A second season of the isekai series In Another World With My Smartphone has been announced.

    In Another World With My Smartphone began as a light novel series back in 2015. A manga series came shortly after and finally an anime premiered back in 2017. However after five years of silence, it seems fans will finally be getting the second season they’ve been waiting for.

    This one’s as isekai as it gets, a young man finds himself killed and an apologetic god allows him to reincarnate in another world. His desire is to keep his smartphone and with it comes a wellspring of cheat abilities. In addition to having unlimited access to his phone and some additional magical resources as a result, our hero Touya Mochizuki is incidentally overpowered with magic.

    At the time of publishing, a premiere date for In Another World With My Smartphone season 2 has yet to be announced.
