Honkai Impact 3rd “players” mad Theresa art contains a Male

Honkai Impact 3rd

Honkai Impact 3rd got new artwork/update featuring female character (allegedly) Theresa that brought tears and loathing amongst the snowflake Twitter community.

The outrage stemmed from the “lesbian” character being spotted in the new artwork – holding hands with what appears to be a male.

Honkai Impact 3rd is a free-to-play game for mobile and PC and is set in an alternate iteration of Earth that is being terrorized by the malevolent force that is “Honkai”.

One Twitter user uploaded artwork for female character Theresa that was seemingly part of a new update/chapter:

However, Twitter’s most deranged individuals took issue with this art, as they rabidly believe Theresa to be a lesbian (albeit likely without any actual evidence), and there is an image of her holding hands with the “captain”, a male character.

Many of these Twitter users were complaining about the “Captainverse”, the community name for the continuity surrounding Honkai Impact 3rd. Its stories are separate from the main storyline while centering around a character known as the “Captain”.

However, some are claiming that the character in the art is not actually Theresa, essentially making all the complaining hot air (or at least, even more so), while others believe it is just Theresa grown up:

Here’s some artwork of Theresa from the game’s Fandom page:

Here are some of the comments from the tweet:

Such individuals are of the same Twitter contingent that harasses and attacks people for not agreeing with their “romantic pairings” of fictional characters, with such conflict escalating to the point of doxxing people that disagree with them.
