Honkai Impact 3rd‘s new update brings us the magical girl Sirin and more.

The Honkai Impact 3rd team announces today that the action title is releasing v6.9 Cutting Dreams at Dawn on SEP 14! Don’t miss out on the new battlesuit, limited-time summer event and exhilarating main story! A new friend from another bubble universe, the Miracle ☆ Magical Girl, Sirin, will join the Hyperion in the upcoming update, bringing along the second half of Part 1.5, which mainly puts the spotlight on Fu Hua – The unexpected reunion brings the strongest sense of surprise in her long life. Stay tuned for the story awaiting in the unknown future!
Most importantly, following the version update, Honkai Impact 3rd is launching the crossover event with the animated movie PROMARE, merging the PROMARE vibe with the game’s distinctive design style!
Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. A tenacious resistance formed by Valkyries, brave girls carrying anti-Honkai genes, leads humanity in a war of survival and fights for everything that is beautiful in the world. Since its launch on mobile devices, the game has won an international following and frequently topped App Store’s and Google Play’s download charts. The game was ported to PC in late 2019 with cross-save support, and is also available on the Epic Games Store now, making the Honkai-verse more accessible than ever!
The new S-rank battlesuit Miracle ☆ Magical Girl, Sirin, is a MECH-type Fire DMG dealer who wields a chakram. While in battle, she can transform the chakram into scissors, and simultaneously restore Starry Faith that leads to reduction of DMG taken while sustaining her Iron Body state. Sirin can also cast different Joint Weapon Skills, dealing Fire DMG and applying Ignite Trauma to enemies hit. As for her Ultimate, Sirin creates an illusory space to trap her enemies, then with a cut of her scissors, she will shred the illusory space and cast Fire DMG to all enemies trapped within.
The magical girl Sirin is armed with two chakrams that turn into a massive pair of scissors, the new battlesuit also makes use of illusions to trick her enemies.
The 6.9 update, which will bring the new character, is coming September 14, 2023, to mobile and PC.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available on iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows (through Steam).
