Hogwarts Legacy won’t allow pre-loading on PC ahead of release

Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy will allegedly not allow users to pre-load the game on PC, regardless of where the game was purchased.

According to one Reddit user, WB Games customer service made clear that users would have to wait until the game’s “early access” launch for deluxe edition buyers.

WB Games has yet to offer a reason for this decision. Speculatively, it could be to protect the game against piracy or otherwise prevent access before the February 7 early access date.

Hogwarts Legacy has been releasing more and more details about the game as we get closer to its release next month.

British actor Simon Pegg was announced to be voicing one of the instructors in the game, and news about more features are still being announced.

Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch on February 10th, 2023 across Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 – with some kind of port for Switch later.
