Hogwarts Legacy

And just like that, another game has been delayed to 2023 as it appears 2022 may just a curse for game releases.

Publisher Warner Bros. and developer Portkey announced that Hogwarts Legacy will be delayed to February 10th, 2023 – forgoing its originally planned 2022 release.

When the game does release, it’ll be available for Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 – with some kind of port for Switch later.

“The team is excited for you to play, but we need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience,” the developer said in an update.

WB Games Avalanche community manager Chandler Wood also posted an update saying they understand fans are frustrated with the game being pushed out of 2022, but believes fans will finally have a release date they can look forward to.

Hogwarts Legacy is said to be an open-world RPG that will allow players to explore the world of Hogwarts and Harry Potter. It is hoping to be able to first game to properly capture the magic of the Harry Potter universe. Fans can also hope that, as the game continues development progress, they will be able to see more of what the game has to offer.
