The artbook from the collector’s edition of Hogwarts Legacy has leaked and there’s more than just beautiful concept art inside.

One fan exposed a page which explained the three different types of quests players will encounter.

Reddit user smokediza (Warning: Spoilers!) posted the page from the artbook which explains the three quest types: “The Golden Path”, Side Missions, and Class Assignments.

The quests seem to be given different tiers of significance depending on what they offer to the game’s narrative.

The Golden Path appears to be the main story of Hogwarts Legacy and will keep players focused on the bigger threats and plots in the game.

Side Missions are side quests that are fluffed out to allow for roleplaying opportunity where choices can matter.

Players are empowered to solve Side Missions in the way that best fits their play style and the witch or wizard they want to be.

Lastly, Class Assignments encourage players to explore and interact with optional content and tasks. These assignments speculatively emphasize spells and mechanics that aren’t used often in The Golden Path.

Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch on February 10th, 2023 across Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 – with some kind of port for Switch later.
