In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz, Henry Cavill called working on the Warhammer 40k franchise “the greatest privilege of my professional career”.

Cavill is famous for being enthusiastic about some of the IPs that he works on. So much so, allegedly his unapologetic dedication to accuracy in Netflix’s The Witcher caused some friction with the show’s writers.

However it seems Cavill is being given a lot of freedom to work with the Warhammer 40k setting, having been named an Executive Producer in multiple upcoming projects.

Cavill is largely known for his recent work in Superman films and The Witcher TV series. Thanks to his outspoken appreciation for his source material he’s quickly gathering fans in nearly every fandom he’s working on.
