Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an upcoming mobile game featuring the popular Sanrio characters of the Hello Kitty franchise.

However a lot of western fans are noticing an impossible to miss reference in the title. In the South Park Episode “Make Love, Not Warcraft” Butters tells the gang that he doesn’t play World of Warcraft, he plays Hello Kitty Island Adventure instead.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure bills itself as an open world adventure game and from the trailer it bears similarities to the Animal Crossing franchise.
