Social media users took issue with another piece of harmless Genshin Impact fanart as they expressed dismay over the artist portraying two characters in ways that didn’t “represent the canon”.

A social media user replied to a now deleted tweet with a piece of fan art (that they didn’t make) depicting two Genshin Impact characters happily married with a child:

Twitter addicts, as per usual, took offense to this artwork because it “didn’t depict the characters the way they should be”.

These individuals are the same ones who complain that certain characters aren’t drawn dark enough in fanart and harass artists over it.
