Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced that Halo Wars 2 has gone gold.
This means the development on the game has been completed, and it’s being readied for shipment and its final release. The news was confirmed by Dan Ayoub, the head of 343 Industries.
Developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, the real-time strategy followup to the 2009 spinoff based on the Halo franchise has a multitude of upgrades, including new units, new modes, and even a card-based blitz mode.
Halo Wars 2 is launching on February 21st for PC and Xbox One. A physical release is being offered via THQ Nordic – you can read more about that here.
