Cygames have announced the release date for Granblue Fantasy: Versus DLC character Belial, along with the release of Patch 1.40 today.
According to Granblue Fantasy Wiki [1, 2], Belial is a primal and self-proclaimed fallen angel. Taking the Lucifer inspiration even further, Belial is exceptionally cunning- starting the origin beasts’ rebellion, and “condemning the world at one moment, extolling the sanctity of life the next.”
Along side the first DLC character for Season 2, players will receive a lobby avatar, an in-game icon, two RPG mode quests, and a free skin for Granblue Fantasy on mobile devices.

The Belial DLC will launch September 24th, though the official XSEED Games’ Twitter account notes Character Pass 2 will launch September 23rd. This will also introduce version 2.00, introducing balance changes, and resetting the Versus Ranks.
As seen at the trailer above, the Cagliostro character DLC will launch late October. We also covered the Narmaya, Soriz, Djeeta, and Zooey DLC.
In addition, patch 1.40 has released today. This adds main quest chapters 41 through 45, and new limited-time events (such as Boss Battle Time Attack and GBVS: Blitz). You can find the trailer for that below.
