Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Santa Monica Studio announced God of War Ragnarok sold over 5 million copies in its first week.

The reboot sequel sold 5.1 million copies in its first week – specifically within the first 4-5 days, as of November 13th across both PS4 and PS5. This makes the game the fastest-selling game in PlayStation history.

God of War Ragnarok was just launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9th.
