We’ve gotten a more in-depth look at Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, via an extended gameplay trailer.
Featured above, the nine-minute long trailer (via IGN) shows off the pseudo-3D game, which Frozenbyte revealed earlier last month. If you watch closely, you can see how the heroes are able to move in full 3D space, while the level progression is still mostly on a 2D plane (with some exeptions).
All three characters are shown off: Pontius the knight, Zoya the thief, and Amadeus the wizard. As a fan of both previous games, it’s certainly exciting to see the series move in a completely new direction (quite literally, apologies for that sad pun).
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is reportedly coming to PC some time later this year, followed by releases on other platforms.
