MiHoYo have released Genshin Impact Sangonomiya Kokomi abilities trailer, showcasing the abilities of the newest character to be added to their gacha action-RPG.
Sangonomiya Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island, and leads the resistance forces fighting against Raiden Shogun for control of Inazuma. She played a big role in the recent and ongoing Inazuma story quests, and is the third (fourth if you count Horizon: Zero Dawn‘s Aloy, who is currently PlayStation-exclusive) character that has been added in the current 2.1 update.
Sangonomiya Kokomi is a 5-star Hydro catalyst character that focuses on healing and setting up elemental reactions. One of the most notable things about her stats is that she comes with a -100% debuff to her crit rate, but has a variety of ways to heal allies and deal damage that scales based on her max HP. Her basic attack is a three-hit Hydro-infused ranged spell, and can be charged to become an AoE.
Her elemental skill summons a jellyfish-like Bake-Kurage companion that floats around the battlefield healing allies and dealing Hydro damage to enemies. For her elemental burst, Kokomi dons her ceremonial watery ribbons. This increases her damage output based on her max HP, and her attacks also heal allies while in this form. She also gains the ability to walk on water.
As an added bonus, Kokomi decreases stamina consumption for your party while they are swimming as her passive exploration-based ability.
