GamersGate have announced a sale for Capcom’s Resident Evil series, and Revolution Software’s Broken Sword series.

While the two sales have nothing to do with one another, both end the first week of June. First up is Capcom and the Resident Evil series, ending June 3rd (as stated in the press release via email).

The discounts include Resident Evil 0 HD RemasterResident Evil HD Remaster (both 77% off), Resident Evil 2 (2019) (63% off, along with its Deluxe Edition), Resident Evil 3 (2020) (70% off), and a heavy discount on Resident Evil 4 (77% off).

You can find our reviews for some of the above games here; Resident Evil 2 (2019) (we highly recommend it!), Resident Evil 3 (2020), Resident Evil 4 HD (we highly recommend it!), Resident Evil 5 (we recommend it), Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (we highly recommend it!)

In earlier news, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was announced to have sold 9 million units as of March 31st, 2021. This made it Capcom’s second best selling title, and the best selling Resident Evil game; as Capcom consider each entry of Resident Evil 4 as a separate game, divided by platform. In total, Resident Evil 4 sold 10.7 million units.

Capcom also recently announced Resident Evil Village sold 4 million units worldwide; selling faster than the prior three titles in the series.

Returning to the deals, Revolution Software is offering discounts on their Broken Sword series; ending June 9th. Near-all point-and-click adventure games, the first adventure begins with lawyer George Stobbart witnessing a bombing on a Paris cafe, and the theft of a briefcase. Soon, George is dragged into a whirlwind adventure by freelance journalist Nicole “Nico” Collard; leading to far deeper conspiracies.

The discounts are on Broken Sword: Director’s Cut (69% off), Broken Sword 2- the Smoking Mirror Remastered (49% off), Broken Sword 3 – the Sleeping Dragon (49% off), Broken Sword 4 – the Angel of Death (49% off), and Broken Sword 5 – the Serpent’s Curse (59% off).
