From Software has announced some exciting news – they’re opening a new development studio in Fukuoka, Japan.

The new studio is going to be primed to “focus on creating 3D CG assets for games while working closely with the original studio in Tokyo,” while also “working closely with the original studio in Tokyo.”

The close proximity to Tokyo makes Fukuoka and its nearby areas the perfect choice for the Bloodborne and Dark Souls developer. They’re hoping their new studio will “contribute to build good development environments that lead them to greater quality and creativity.”

While the new studio will be set up next month, it won’t begin actual development until January of next year. From Software is naturally hiring for lots of jobs, over on their recruiting website.
