Fortnite Fortnitemares 2023 Quest Guide

Fortnite Fortnitemares 2023

Fortnite‘s Halloween event Fortnitemares is here, and we made an easy-to-follow quest guide just in case you needed some guidance during the spooky season.

Players have roughly three weeks to finish up the event quests, and this year they don’t seem to be too demanding.

Below you can view the quest list, rewards, and our recommended method of finishing each quest.

  • Complete 5 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Bat Royale Back Bling and a Cat Banner Icon.
  • Complete 15 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Hypno-Bat Spray.
  • Complete 25 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track.

Gain full shields within 30 seconds of taking damage from opponents:

This one should be easy enough: make sure you have two shield potions in your inventory, engage a player, let them get one or two hits in, and kill them. Your mileage may vary depending on the skill gap between you and the player, but it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Hit enemy players from 30 or more meters:

Sniper rifles are your friend in this challenge, but you can also use an explosive bow or any other weapon that does some splash damage to make your life a little easier.

However, if you are really good at aiming, even a regular assault rifle will do the job, so feel free to flex your skill as much as you want in this challenge.

Search a Ghost Buried Chest or Rare Chest:

Ghost Buried Chests are a bit difficult to come by, but thankfully there’s a guaranteed method for finding Rare Chests.

Killing a Highcard boss will net you a vault key, and vaults are guaranteed to have Rare Chests inside. If that task is too daunting, there’s a chance you’ll simply stumble upon a Rare Chest naturally, so you can complete this one just by playing matches regularly.

Sprint distance within 15 seconds of ringing doorbells:

Land on Slappy Shores (or any other location with houses), ring a doorbell, and run around. That’s literally it, this one’s a freebie.

Travel distance with a Witch Broom:

This is possibly the hardest one on the list, because it requires you to find a specific mythic item. Thankfully, an NPC southeast of Creeky Compound named Phaedra can sell it to you for the cheap price of 100 gold bars.

After acquiring it, go to a high spot and keep gliding down. You can always buy another Witch Broom if you get eliminated early, so just do it over and over again until you complete it.

Visit Eclipsed Estate or Relentless Retreat:

Another freebie quest, all you have to do is land on one of the two locations. You can even leave afterwards if you don’t feel like sticking around.

Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences:

These are always a pain to complete, and mostly depend on what you find entertaining to play. Not all Creator Made Experiences are made equal, so you’ll just have to find one you enjoy.

This is one of those quests where you just have to keep doing it until it you get enough XP. One of the most popular creator experiences right now are the Red vs Blue team deathmatches, so that one is probably your best bet if you don’t have a specific creator experience in mind.

That’s about it for our Fortnite Fortnitemares 2023 quest guide. Hopefully you managed to do all quests without much trouble and are now able to enjoy your rewards.

We’ll have another guide up soon for the Horde Rush mode, so keep an eye out on Niche Gamer.

Fortnite is available and free-to-play on Windows PC, Mac (both via the official website and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
