Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach Launches December 16 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

Steel Wool Studios have announced Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach launches December 16th on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

As previously reported, the game takes place at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex; a three story entertainment complex with animatronics. Players are trapped in the facility until morning with a single security guard, and all new 80s glamrock inspired animatronics. The game was previously only confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5.

As explained on PlayStation Blog, S.T.A.F.F. bots will alert the animatronics to your presence, but you cannot run forever as your stamina runs out. Worse still, the animatronics “evolve” as the night progresses, meaning players will need to adapt.

Among the dangerous animatronics, Freddy Fazbear will help you. Along with guiding and protecting you, players can hop inside it to move around undetected, for as long as his limited power lasts until you need to recharge at a station.

Players can also access the facility’s security cameras to plan a path, knock over objects to cause distractions, find limited-use weapons to stun foes before they need to be recharged, and even the “Fazblaster” that demands direct headshots. Even so, with how frantic your foes are, running and hiding is usually the better option.
