Space Budgie’s nebulous “first person programming game,” Glitchspace, is now available for Linux, Mac, and PC via Steam Early Access.

The game takes place in a cyberspace world where players are put onto the task of hunting for the eponymous Glitchspace, a “by-product of cyberspace and its various glitches.” Once you find see the glitches themselves, you have to solve them by editing the source code itself, and by exploiting said glitches.

Glitchspace is currently in an alpha state, and it only offers an hours worth of play from start to finish. Space Budgie is hoping to up that total playtime to somewhere closer in the range of two to three hours, once the game is complete of course. The developer wants to improve not only the gameplay elements, but the audio, puzzles, and more.

Glitchspace is set for a release sometime in Q2 of this year, and you can currently grab it for $6.99 via it’s official Steam page.
