• Final Fantasy XIV introduces new Job: Viper

    Final Fantasy XIV has finally announced the name of the new Job coming in their newest expansion Dawntrail.

    The new class is called Viper and fights with two swords with quick and powerful strikes. To mix things up, the Viper can combine his two blades at the hilt in order to turn their weapons into a single double-sided weapon.

    After the expansion was originally announced, in the initial trailer we only saw the Warrior of Light wielding a single sword. This lead fans to speculate the new class would be the “Corsair”, to fit with the theme of nautical travel and exploration.

    Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is expected to release in Summer 2024.
