Square Enix will announced Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary news sometime in June 2022, news confirmed during the second Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier livestream.

Creative director Tetsuya Nomura teased the Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary news during the live broadcast, giving fans some hope that info on the second part of the remake is coming.

In January of this year, game producer Yoshinori Kitase teased that we would get information on further things in the Remake.

“This year, the 25th anniversary has begun, and I’d like to work together with everyone to make Final Fantasy VII more exciting, so I’d like to give you more information this year, so please wait with anticipation!”

Coming from this, we can likely expect the Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary news to include more new things from the Remake.

The latest version of its remake, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, has been available since June 2021 on PlayStation 5 and the original Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PlayStation 4.
