Eidos’ (now part of Square Enix) Fear Effect series is making a return in the publishers Square Enix Collective.

The series is receiving an official third entry via crowdfunding, dubbed Fear Effect: Sedna. The game will be developed by independent French developer Sushee. Featured above, you can view the teaser trailer for the upcoming threequel.

The game will be put up on Kickstarter in the coming days and is likened as a “brand new adventure, from the streets of Hong Kong to the cold world of Greenland,” while also featuring four protagonists: Hana, Rain, Glas and Deke.

Sushee teases that players will “lead them in isometric landscapes, combine their abilities to fight your way through futuristic underground stations, underwater research facilities, icy caves and Inuit spiritual realms.”

Development platforms were not confirmed at this time, however we should be finding out when the game hits Kickstarter.
