Far Cry 6 gets new sci-fi style DLC with “Lost Between Worlds”

Far Cry 6

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Montreal have announced Far Cry 6 is getting new sci-fi styled DLC for its next post-launch content.

The new “Lost Between Worlds” downloadable content is launching on December 6th for $19.99, and is included with the game’s $100 Game of the Year Edition, or as part of it’s Upgrade Pass (which bumps your version up to the GOTY edition), but is not included with its Season Pass.

Players can expect the new content to bring protagonist Dani Rojas into a bizzare and otherworldly version of the game world, Yara. Players will then have to work with an alien-made artificial intelligence to collect crystals and kill crystal people.

Lastly, a free update for the base game is out now – adding a New Game+ mode as well as a “Completionist aid” feature. A free demo for anyone that hasn’t played the game yet is also available across all platforms.

Here’s a new trailer for the DLC, plus a new trailer for the New Game+ mode:

Far Cry 6 has been available since October 2022 on Windows PC (via Epic Games Store, and UPlay), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
