Far Cry 5 gets 60FPS support on Xbox Series X|S and PS5

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Montreal launched a new update for Far Cry 5 to celebrate its fifth birthday.

The new update unlocks 60 frames per second playback for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, when playing on an Xbox Series X|S or a PlayStation 5.

Furthermore – the Xbox Series X|S versions include improve resolution for up to 4K, but the Series S can’t do as much. The PS5 version isn’t native so it’s also outputting at the standard resolution.

Far Cry 5 has been available for Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
