Fallout TV show set photo leaks look better than expected

Fallout

The Fallout television series has been in the works for a long time, but only just recently has filming begun after it was announced in 2020. Since then, not much has been known about the series, outside of actor Walton Goggins lending his talents to play a ghoul.

This lack of information hasn’t stopped leaks of the film set though. Again on Twitter (backup here), images of the set have been shown, but personally they look much more authentic towards the games than originally expected.

One of the images does show a blue screen, which likely means there will also be sequences involved CGI. This is to be expected even with workings on traditional props given the scope and nature of the game and having to translate that into live-action.

The Fallout TV series is far from the only series produced based on a video game. Other companies, such as Sony, have also been working on getting their IPs onto the small screen. Rumors have indicated they are wanting to create a God of War series, which will be produced by Amazon, which is the same as the Fallout series.

They also have hoped for a Horizon series which would stream on Netflix. Coming from this, Sony doesn’t want to keep all their eggs in one basket in terms of what platform they find themselves working.
