Falcom planning at least 2 more remastered Ys game releases

Falcom has teased more remasters of classic Ys games, hot on the heels of the newly revealed Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.

Company president Toshihiro Kondo was interviewed by Famitsu (via Ryokutya), in which the company boss teased at least two more remastered Ys games, alongside the aforementioned Felghana remaster.

The new games are being described as “refined”, where Kondo confirmed they have the Felghana remaster running at 60 FPS with “almost no problems,” and they’re upgrading the game with high-res textures.

Further, Kondo noted they’re working on balancing the game with the “Switch user base in mind,” as the game will be their first release on Switch.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is launching in Japan for Nintendo Switch sometime in spring 2023.
